Money is the Root of ALL Evil

I have come to the conclusion that the government only cares about money rather than its citizens.  Money is the root to all evil and its beginning to kill innocent American people.  When people start dying because of the meat productions, changes need to be made to find the source of these problems.  Using technology to solve the problems, obviously hasn't been working, but maybe its cheaper to handle that way.  After so many recalls from the same plant it would only be logical to consider this plant contaminated but due to our justice system the FDA can not control when a factory is shut down. This makes no sense to me, therefore the boy who died because of it will never get justice for his unfortunate death.  His mom has to live with the fact that her son will never come back, and that it might happen to some other stranger or some one else in her family.  What is the message the government is sending to its citizens, that money is more important than lives?  I guess something has to happen to one of the factory owners for them to realize that there is a problem.  I doubt that they ever consume the things they were producing because they know that there is a slight chance that they might die from it, and that is too much of a reality check for them.  I don't understand how you can continuously recall meat back and not change much to prevent it from happening again.  If restaurants get closed down after many food borne illnesses, why don't meat plants?  This should be a requirement, especially since they are serving the whole United States rather than just one city.  Maybe it's not the government, but I know they have the ability to step in and they're not doing it.
