Fast Food and Arby's

So frequently I see commercials for Arby's featuring a dectective named Bo Deital. These commercials express the lack of fresh cut meats and such from the food franchise Subway. I feel as if this commercial doesn't really get through to people who go to Subway. The fact is that most people don't really care where the meat is sliced. If people can get a 12 inch sub for 5 or 6 bucks then who cares where the meat is sliced. What Arby's should have done is show where the meat comes from and how it is processed, what the cattle are fed, etc. The only reason I could see them not doing this is because their meat may come from the same place as Subway or at least it is processed and fed the same way.
For years Arby's didn't attempt to take shots at Subway but now we see commercials from both arby's and subway claiming the have "fresh foods" and good quality. The problem is Arbys is still technically a fast food restaurant and Subway obviously doesn't have fresh meat. So what does this mean?

Subway as well as Arby's are playing a trick on our society by claiming that their food is fresh when it really is just about the same as any other fast food chain. Subway also tries to promote this healthy lifestyle thing with their sandwiches when really all the nutrition ingredients are only for a 6 inch sandwich. Most of their advertising campaigns focus on footlong sub deals but its only "healthy" for you if you get no meat on it or only get a 6 inch sub.

Either way, Arby's and subway are different place to eat and some would argue in a different category of food you may want. Arbys has fried chicken sandwiches and curly fries while Subway has subs and chips. Basically what im getting at is that both companies are lying to us about the freshness of their food and are lying that it is more healthy.
