just my 2 cents

I have never really given the idea of video games and military the same thought. I am also unsure if I feel that video games affect the mind set of today's youth and so on. I played super nintendo when I was younger, but I had no desire to go out and drive a car all crazy. But, with that being said, today's video games are much more violent. If I take a different approach and ask myself if I would let my children (if i had any) play these games, it mind be a tough decision. My step-father fought in Vietnam and he feels very strongly about me and/or my friends not joining the service. He claims that it "changes people," I imagine. With all that being said, I think that maybe I would have a stronger opinion on this topic if it directly affected me or someone I love.
