Judge Judy

Are women funny? I say so, I am a male and I believe that times are changing and women can be just as if not more funnier than men.  Shows like Saturday Night Live and The Big Bang Theory are prime examples of how women are taking over TV shows and acting with much humor. For example Melissa McCarthy in Saturday Night Live made her own skit and acts immature and is a hassle for all the other characters on set.   Penny on the Big Bang Theory act as a comedian relief to what is going on and sometimes appears as the dumb unintelligent one.   Some people say that women cannot act as stupid or as weird as men and get the same results but they can and do it all the time.  One thing that women can do which not all male actors or comedians can do is to play a serious character and tries to appear as amusing or comical. 

Not only in the world of TV shows does actors and stars appear to be funny.  The show Judge Judy is a hilarious show which she takes comedy to a new level.  Judge Judy harasses people when they come in to her court and tries to give advice which will help them out in the future.  The idea is she sees so many familiar cases and when people tell “their sides” of the story she laughs in her head along with some viewers at home.  When people try to defend an offense which was brought upon them they make up ridiculous stories and try to tell anything they can to get money for themselves or say they are innocent.   This is comical because we as people like to laugh at others mistakes or choices which they have in their lives.   Also, many people are not familiar with the legal system and Judge Judy explains it to them the individuals is confused and shocked by what the outcome is.  Judge Judy’s humor is different than normal comedy, but a new type which makes many people laugh.
